Community Needs Assessment

In 2014, the Princeton Department of Human Services conducted a community needs assessment of low-moderate income households to better understand the needs of Princeton residents and to effectively plan for service delivery based on service gaps and the need for additional services. This report is based on the results of a comprehensive survey of low-moderate income residents representing 204 low-moderate income households. The household respondents included 450 persons (335 adults and 115 children). In addition, focus groups were conducted with 22 households from four different population groups:

  • English-speaking families
  • Seniors
  • Singles
  • Spanish-speaking families
