Recycling in Princeton
Princeton's recycling is handled by the Mercer County Improvement Authority. If your recycling is missed or collection was incomplete, you must report it online or call Mercer County Improvement Authority at 609-278-8086.
Mercer County will be enforcing recycling contamination by tagging bins that contain contaminants. They will be tagged with a red "Recycling Rejection Notice". If your bin is tagged, please bring it in and remove the contaminants for the next scheduled recycling day.

You can still use the green recycling bins.

Recycling Bins
Residents can pick up bins at 27 North Harrison Street, Monday-Friday (except holidays), between 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Residents are allowed to take up to 2 bins.

Electronics Recycling
Princeton will no longer be accepting any electronics, including TVs. Mercer County offers electronics recycling events throughout the year. Please visit their website for more information.
Best Buy offers an electronic recycling program at their stores. For more information visit the Best Buy Electronics, Appliance and Fitness Equipment Recycling page.
If residents would like to dispose of their electronics they can be dropped off at any of the Goodwill locations listed. Please call ahead to confirm.
