[ARCHIVED] Emergency Rental Assistance Programs

House

Low-Income renters can be protected from eviction for non-payment of rent because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  To protect yourself you MUST complete a self-certification to say your income has been negatively affected by COVID. The certification can be found at https://covid19.nj.gov/renter.

For help paying your rent, there are four different Rental Assistance Programs available: 1) CVERAP II at the NJ Department of Community Affairs; 2) ERAP through Mercer County; 3) Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP); and 4) Arm in Arm.  Even if you have been served by HIP or Arm in Arm, you may still be eligible for the State or County Program, and we encourage you to apply.
